Ajay Chitkara, chief executive officer (CEO) of Airtel Business, has resigned from his position. According to a regulatory filing, Chitkara will continue with the company until the third week of August 2023.
Meanwhile, Bharti Airtel has announced the restructuring of the leadership team in its enterprise arm. Airtel Business will operate as three business and channel segments – Global business led by Vani Venkatesh, domestic business led by Ganesh Lakshminarayanan, and Nxtra Data Centers led by Ashish Arora.
According to the telco, its Airtel Business division presents an exciting growth opportunity going forward. It added that Chitkara, in his 23 long years with Airtel, has delivered a significant impact.
