STL has announced the elevation of Rahul Puri as the chief executive officer of its Optical Networking Business (ONB).
At STL, he has been instrumental in driving strategic initiatives and strengthening the company’s global footprint, significantly enhancing its business in the telecom and technology sectors.
Puri, who previously served as vice president and general manager for Europe, the Middle East, India, and Africa (EMEIA) and Asia Pacific (APAC) regions, brings over 24 years of experience spanning business development, sales, marketing, operations, and product management. During his career, Puri has held key roles at leading technology and telecom firms, including Apple, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Reliance, and Bharti Airtel, across diverse geographies.
In his current role, Puri will play a crucial role as ONB pushes forward with its expansion and strengthens its position in the global market
Additionally, STL has announced the resignation of David De Craemer, business head, Global Optical Connectivity, who is leaving the organisation to pursue external opportunities. Binod Balachandran, currently serving as chief operations officer for Optical Connectivity, will assume the role of interim business head for Global Optical Connectivity.
