The 2012 Formula One Airtel Indian Grand Prix will be held on October 28, 2012. Bharti Airtel was the title sponsor for the first Indian Grand Prix held in 2011.

The operator has once again come on board as the title sponsor for the second edition of the Indian Grand Prix. As the official race partner MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS, the operator will develop mobile content and co-branded merchandise for its subscribers and organise exclusive driver meet-and-greet sessions for consumer promotions. It will have the rights to use the partnership logo for all the promotional activities and communication.

Brand Airtel will leverage its association with MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS using the star power of the team’s drivers Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg to connect with the youth in countries like India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The operator will provide its subscribers instant race updates including race orders, team and driver standing information. Bharti Airtel subscribers will also have access to videos of behind-the-scenes action, high performance engines and cars and automotive sport accessories.
