Bharti Airtel has showcased its digital infrastructure and artificial intelligence (AI) driven solutions to the prime minister of India at the ongoing India AI Impact Summit 2026. Further, the telco reaffirmed its commitment to building an AI first Digital Bharat.
As per Airtel, AI is now embedded across its network and digital infrastructure, making its networks, cloud, cyber security systems and platforms more intelligent, resilient and prepared for the digital future.
According to the telco, more than 71 billion spam calls and 2.9 billion spam messages have been flagged since the launch of its AI filter in September 2024. In addition, over 800,000 malicious links have been blocked across the network, with nearly 30,000 fraud attempts being stopped each day.
Further, the statement added that there has been a 14.3 per cent decline in cybercrime complaints from Airtel users, along with a 68.7 per cent reduction in financial losses due to fraud.
