Infosys has announced a strategic collaboration with Anthropic, a United States based artificial intelligence (AI) company, to develop and deploy advanced enterprise AI solutions for companies across telecommunications, financial services, manufacturing and software development.

As part of the partnership, a dedicated Anthropic centre of excellence will be set up initially for the telecommunications sector to build and deploy artificial intelligence agents tailored to industry specific operations. Infosys said the initiative will later be expanded to other regulated sectors.

The collaboration will centre on the integration of Anthropic’s Claude models, including Claude Code, with Infosys Topaz AI offerings. The companies aim to help enterprises automate complex workflows, speed up software delivery and adopt AI with appropriate governance and transparency for regulated environments. A major focus will be on agentic AI, which refers to systems capable of independently managing multi step tasks such as claims processing, compliance reviews, and code generation and testing.

Using tools such as the Claude Agent Software Development Kit, the companies plan to enable AI agents that can operate continuously across long and complex processes.

The partnership will also support the modernisation of legacy systems by combining Infosys Topaz and Claude to speed up migration and lower infrastructure upgrade costs. Industry specific AI agents will be developed under the collaboration. In telecommunications, these agents will modernise network operations, streamline customer lifecycle management and improve service delivery.

Additionally, in financial services, AI systems will help detect and assess risks more quickly, automate compliance reporting and personalise customer interactions. Further, in manufacturing and engineering, Claude powered capabilities will support faster product design and simulation, thereby reducing research and development timelines.
