ACT Fibernet has introduced ACT SmartFiber technology. This is a next-generation technology aimed at providing a truly smart internet experience, be it streaming, gaming, work from home (WFH), online education, etc.. This service is applicable to all existing broadband plans and is provided to all customers across all cities of operation at no additional cost.
ACT SmartFiber technology ensures that each customer has a dedicated virtual speed lane from their homes to data centre, enabling users 100 per cent of their plan speed. Users will always get plan speed regardless of peak hour and size of usage on network.
The SmartFiber technology is optimised for video streaming through smart caching, peering and other robust traffic routing technologies. This enables a phenomenal viewing experience in 4K resolution with no buffering and lags especially on large screen television. The network is also optimised for ultra-stability, with low latency and jitters ensuring a seamless video conference experience.
Through its robust network design and intelligent real-time monitoring system, ACT SmartFiber ensures that there are no major disruptions in connectivity. This is done by enduring multiple real and virtual paths, and efficient real-time re-routing of traffic in case of any issues on the network.
ACT SmartWiFi powered by WiFi6 routers ensures increased speeds for devices (by up to 38 per cent) and enables more devices to connect simultaneously.
