RailTel Corporation of India has received a work order with Rs 393.7 million from National Informatics Centre Services Incorporated (NICSI). The order involves on site security operations centre (SOC) and network operations centre (NOC) with five years of support installation and training under the immigration, visa, foreigner’s registration and tracking (IVFRT) project.
The scope of work includes supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and training of the SOC and NOC solution with five years of support. IVFRT project aims to modernise and upgrade immigration services. The core objective of this project is to develop and implement a secure and integrated service delivery framework that facilitates legitimate travellers while strengthening security. The work awarded to RailTel shall enhance their IT framework by encompassing intelligent next-generation security making it more robust, agile and less vulnerable to cyber threats and online attacks.
