Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has launched free high-speed Wi-Fi services, titled ‘Oui DMRC Free Wi-Fi’, across all metro stations on the Yellow Line, that is Line-2 which runs from HUDA City Centre to Samaypur Badli. Passengers will be able to use standard internet applications like Email, Facebook, Google Search, WhatsApp, Video and Audio calls etc. by simply logging into network ID “OUI DMRC FREE Wi-Fi”.
The Yellow Line consists of 37 metro stations and runs mostly underground covering outer Delhi, north Delhi through central Delhi and south Delhi and finally Gurugram. As part of the Wi-Fi service launch, over 330 access points have been installed at these 37 stations to provide uninterpreted internet access to the commuters.
The Oui DMRC free high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity is available on all stations of the Blue Line and Airport Express line, consisting of over 50 metro stations and having over 400 access points placed by DMRC for uninterrupted internet access.
‘Oui DMRC Free WI-Fi’ is now available at 94 stations of the Delhi Metro Network after the launch of high-speed Wi-Fi network across Yellow Line. This service is being provided by a Consortium led by Techno Sat Comm. DMRC in association with Techno Sat Comm is endeavoring to introduce this facility inside metro trains as well within a year’s time.
