Reliance Jio has partnered with Japan-based gaming platform SEGA Corporation to offer, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Streets of Rage 3, games on the JioGames platform.
These games will initially be offered to the JioFiber users, followed by launches on other devices such as the Jio Set-Top Box as well as smartphones and devices.
The partnership comes at a time when online gaming platforms are witnessing significant growth as users are staying at home amid lockdowns.
