Internet service providers (ISPs) in the sector are reportedly planning to approach the Supreme Court (SC) to seek relief in the adjusted gross revenue (AGR) matter.

The ISPs have requested for relief on the lines ofnon-telecom public sector undertakings (PSUs) by the SC. According to the ISPs, their case is similar to the non-telecom PSUs and clubbing them with the telecom operators is unfair.

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has raised a total demand of around Rs 180 billion- 190 billion as dues by the ISPs.
