With a shared vision to develop a standards-based Indian telecommunications technology ecosystem and promote mutual cooperation, the Telecommunications Standards Development Society, India (TSDSI) and Voice of Indian Communication Technology Enterprises (VoICE) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU).
The MoU was signed by director general, VoICE and director general, TSDSI marking a significant step towards strengthening collaboration in telecom standards, technology development across the Indian telecommunications ecosystem.
Key provisions of the TSDSI–VoICE partnership include exchange of expertise and experiences between representatives of both organisations in areas such as telecom standards, technology, pilots, and deployment of standards-based equipment. The collaboration will also facilitate sharing of industry requirements and inputs by VoICE that may potentially contribute towards standards development activities.
Further, the agreement reflects the shared intent of TSDSI and VoICE to support innovation, strengthen indigenous capabilities, and contribute towards the growth of a standards-driven telecom and digital communications ecosystem in India.
