Tejas Networks has announced that the company has reached a milestone by cumulatively shipping over 17,000 internet protocol (IP)/ multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) routers for BharatNet Phase III project. Tejas’s TJ1400 routers are being deployed in nine states and five union territories across India by its project implementation agency partners and are carrying live traffic at multiple locations. Altogether, the company will be supplying nearly 60,000 TJ1400 routers for BharatNet Phase III project which will be deployed across more than 55,000 gram panchayats and 2,000 blocks in the country.
