Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has confirmed that it will launch eSIM services for its customers by March 2025.
The company is also planning to introduce Wi-Fi calling services, which will likely be available once 4G connectivity is established in most regions. BSNL aims to complete the rollout of 1 lakh 4G sites by June 2025, after which it intends to upgrade some of these sites to 5G.
The Wi-Fi calling services will serve as a natural extension of the 4G offerings, and BSNL has stated that VoLTE services will be activated by default for its 4G users.
