The launch of broadband services by BSNL and MTNL has triggered a price war among broadband service providers. Close on the heels of BSNL and MTNL announcing broadband connectivity (256 kbps) at Rs 500 per month, Bharti’s Airtel Broadband has launched a new service at the same tariff as against the Rs 3,000 a month currently being offered by various other players. Bharti has launched its broadband services in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, at Rs 500 a month for 256 kbps with 1 GB download.
