HCL Technologies has named Vikrant Chowdhary as senior vice-president and country head for India of its enterprise software division, HCL Software.
In this role, Chowdhary will oversee the growth and innovation of HCL Software’s operations in India, focusing on key sectors such as enterprise, banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), and government. He will also drive the company’s commitment to the “Make in India” initiative, aiming to strengthen its position as the leading India-based global enterprise software products company.
With over 27 years of leadership experience, Chowdhary has a strong track record in scaling technology-driven businesses. His expertise in go-to-market strategies, team management, and enterprise technology will be instrumental in advancing HCL Software’s strategic objectives within India’s dynamic market.
Further, Chowdhary’s professional journey includes senior roles at technology giants like Salesforce, SAP, Teradata, and IBM, as well as several successful startups. Prior to joining HCL Software, he was the first chief growth officer at CleverTap.
