
Infosys has announced a global partnership with Huawei to offer big data and communication solutions to its enterprise customers. The company plans to develop IT solutions in partnership with Huawei which will help those enterprise customers who are looking to modernise their operations with cloud infrastructure. Both the companies will build reference architectures and standardised solutions for big data platforms on Huawei hardware infrastructure. Further, they might consider setting up a joint lab in China to enable better delivery in all areas of the partnership.
This is in addition the expansion of its existing engagement with Microsoft and Hitachi Data Systems. Infosys has stated its plans to expand its capabilities for analytics and other service offerings on Microsoft technologies. Using Microsoft Azure Machine Learning, a broad range of predictive analytics tools will be offered to enterprises. A global centre of excellence for Microsoft Azure Machine Learning will also be established as part of the partnership, with a capacity to train over 1,000 engineers by the end of fiscal year 2015.
Further, with Hitachi Data Systems (HDS), the engagement is to be expanded to take next generation infrastructure and data centre transformation solutions to enterprises. A centre of excellence will also be set up to co-create pay-per-use solutions with HDS. Many private cloud offerings will be created by the two companies to be ?delivered as-a-service related to ERP, CRM, exchange and collaboration, with flexible pricing models?. This will help enterprises reduce capital expenditure on their cloud infrastructure.
