Vodafone Foundation, part of Vodafone India, will provide financial support worth Rs 6 million to encourage non-profit organisations and non-government organisations to develop mobile applications. It will select a total of five organisations from the ?Mobile for Good Awards 2014? shortlisted from the applicants received on the Vodafone India website till August 31, 2014. The funding will be worth Rs 1.2 million per year for each of the five companies.
Further, the shortlisted companies will receive mentoring, monitoring and evaluation support from various institutions for capacity building of their projects.
