Mumbai-based mobile ad exchange Vserv.mobi has appointed Anurag Patnaik as its seniour vice president (VP) for products business. Under this role, Patnaik will provide expertise for the company?s expansion plans. Prior to this appointment, Patnaik was working in Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL), under the role of senior VP where he was responsible for the company?s advertising business.
Patnaik has an industry experience of 17 years across digital advertising, mobile, media and Big Data. Prior to RJIL, he was VP (product management, social media and advertising) at NM Incite, a Nielsen/McKinsey Company. Before this, he was director and business head (advertising and analytics) at Openwave Inc. He had also worked at companies including Yahoo Inc., Walt Disney, Quovera Inc. and MicroStrategy.
