Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has floated tenders inviting bids for setting up towers in the four states affected by naxal violence. The operator has incited bids for setting-up towers in the Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa and West Bengal circles.
BSNL has floated the tender for the supply, installation, testing, operation and maintenance of 1,315 2G GSM tower sites in the four circles. The operator will be holding a pre-bid conference September 2, 2013. The last date for the submission of technical and commercial bids is September 27, 2013.
