Vodafone India has launched the My News value added service for customers in the Delhi and National Capital Region. The service enables subscribers read the daily newspaper on their handsets.
The My News service is available for Rs 5 per day or for Rs 35 per week.
Users can choose from 30 regional or national newspapers and the service can be activated by sending ?MYNEWS? as an SMS to 111.
Commenting on the launch, Subrat Padhi, business head, Delhi, Vodafone India says, ?As the world around us gets increasingly mobile, people are choosing to source most of their information and conduct multiple transactions through the mobile phone. Vodafone has always endeavoured to be the harbinger of innovation in terms of product offerings, as one of the means to provide a superior customer experience.
