Following Kolkata and Bengaluru, Bharti Airtel has introduced 4G services for its post-paid subscribers in Pune. With the launch of 4G in Pune, Bharti Airtel has become the first operator to offer 4G services in Maharashtra. The operator plans to make Airtel 4G available to customer?s on equated monthly installments and cash on delivery.
The operator is also extending free trial offers of services like Airtel Broadband TV and Games On-Demand to its 4G customers. The operator plans to soon extend the service to its prepaid subscribers as well.
Airtel Broadband TV service on Airtel 4G dongle will allow customers to stream live TV content directly onto their laptop or desktop without the prerequisite of a cable or set-top box connection. Customers would have access to 76 channels and on-demand videos across various genres including movies, music, entertainment and news. The monthly and weekly pack for Airtel Broadband TV is priced at Rs 150 and Rs 49, respectively.
Games On-Demand will give subscribers access to games like FIFA and Need For Speed from a host of publishers like EA, Ubisoft, Square-Enix, PopCap and Alawar. The price of the games ranges from Rs 5 a day for 30 games to Rs 199 for more than 350 games. Bharti Airtel has introduced seven Games On-Demand plans. It is also offering subscribers a monthly movie subscription pack priced at Rs 149. The operator has also extended a free trial offer for the movie pack for its 4G subscribes.
