Nepal Telecom (NT) will reportedly install a GSM 1800 system in Kathmandu to upgrade the quality of its mobile services. Chinese telecommunication equipment supplier Huawei has been appointed to supply and install the system, which is expected to provide a base for NT to distribute 400,000 additional mobile phone lines.
