The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) has introduced Meghdoot 1.0, a free, open source cloud offering.
Meghdoot offers clients the prerequisite tools necessary for implementing cloud. It offers features such as platform and Infrastructure-as-a-service (PaaS and IaaS), metering and monitoring, web-based management of cloud resources and enhanced security across layers.
Apart from various third party tools, Meghdoot 1.0 offers some value-added features and functionalities to the clients. The solution offers one-stop solution to help clients implement cloud across layers.
