Tikona Digital Networks has invited bids from long-term-evolution (LTE) vendors for procuring 4G equipment worth $200 million, say news reports.
The company has floated request for proposals, inviting bids for procurement of 4G equipment from LTE vendors. Tikona is preparing to launch 4G services in two circles out of the five where it holds 4G licences. During the initial phase, the company is likely to launch 4G services in Gujarat and Rajasthan. Later, it will introduce 4G services in other circles including Uttar Pradesh East, Uttar Pradesh West, and Himachal Pradesh.
