As per data released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority (TRAI), Idea Cellular and Vodafone India?s revenue share have improved significantly in the nine quarters up to December 2011.

As per the regulator, Idea Cellular?s revenue share of 12.8 per cent increased by 350 basis points (bps) in two years and by 110 bps from the year-ago period.

On the other hand, during the nine quarters ended December 2011, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited?s (BSNL) revenue share fell by 920 bps to 14.5 per cent.

Reliance Communications? (RCOM) revenue share declined by 100 bps during the period under consideration and by 20 bps when compared to the previous year.

In the December quarter, Bharti Airtel?s share in the sector?s total telecom revenue fell by 120 basis points to 29.4 per cent from the year-ago period.
