Alcatel-Lucent has been awarded a three-year network operation and maintenance contract by Saudi Arabian mobile operator Mobily. According to the contract, Alcatel-Lucent will be responsible for the operations, maintenance, optimisation and spare parts management of Mobily’s multi-vendor network. The contract is a part of Mobily’s efforts to increase the overall efficiency and reliability of its network and reduce the network operating costs.
