Pakistan’s Warid Telecom has awarded a $300 million network expansion contract to Ericsson. Under the terms of the contract, Ericsson will expand and upgrade Warid’s GSM/GPRS network, providing additional capacity for 5 million lines and increasing coverage to 100 more cities.
