Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) has won a contract to expand and upgrade the 3G radio mobile network of Germany’s E-Plus Group over the next two years.

Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) has won a contract to expand and upgrade the 3G radio mobile network of Germany’s E-Plus Group over the next two years. The value of the order, which includes base stations and microwave transmission equipment, has not been disclosed. Meanwhile, NSN has also won a contract from Italian broadband service provider Fastweb to supply wireless network technology. Fastweb is planning an entry into the mobile services market in Italy by the end of 2008.
