
TTSL and Virgin Mobile have forged a franchise arrangement under which TTSL will sell part of its services under the Virgin brand.
According to the terms of the deal, TTSL will pay a pre-agreed fee to Virgin for every user buying the service. According to company officials, TTSL will now have two brands ?? Tata Indicom for the mass market, and Virgin for the youth market. For the latter, the two companies have set a subscriber target of 5 million and a revenue target of Rs 350 billion by 2010.
