Motorola has entered into a contract with the Kuwait-based Zain Group.

Motorola has entered into a contract with the Kuwait-based Zain Group. According to the terms of the contract, it will expand and upgrade the operator’s 3G HSPA mobile broadband network to HSPA+. The deal is an extension of an earlier contract based on which Motorola deployed a 3G network for Zain in 2007 and later upgraded the network to support enhanced data speeds of 14.4 Mbps.
