Thailand-based mobile operator AIS has selected Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) to provide a service delivery platform (SDP) solution. The solution will provide a cost-effective method of creating new services on both circuit switched and packet switched networks. This will enable AIS to develop new multimedia and multi-network call handling services on the same platform, reusing both software and hardware assets in order to save time and money. The deal value has not been disclosed.
