He will spearhead the launch of 4G services by the Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) owned company ? Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited.
Mashruwala is an RIL veteran with 30 years of experience with RIL. During his long association with RIL, Mashruwala has played a key role in RIL?s petrochemical business. He was also involved in building a nation-wide fibre optic network a decade ago when the then unified Reliance Group launched mobile services.
Jio Infocomm Limited is planning to offer wireless mobility as well as high-speed broadband, TV and other services to homes through fibre network. The company is expected to launch 4G services in the second part of 2013.
