The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) is reportedly planning to develop a unified super interactive portal integrating over 10 existing websites to streamline and enhance user experience.
This initiative aims to consolidate telecom industry information and consumer services onto a single platform, facilitating real-time interactions and easing compliance for telecom operators while enhancing service accessibility for consumers.
The Digital Communications Commission (DCC) has cleared the proposal and work will soon commence for developing the portal. The portal will be developed by Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DoT) under its newly formed telecom transformation division. The website will house all information concerning DoT’s acts, policies, consumer initiatives, etc. and will be developed in phases though all the websites will be integrated into it within a year.
