ZTE Corporation has won an exclusive contract to build a nationwide fixed line voice network for China Telecom Corporation. The network will cover 30 provinces in the country, and will connect China Telecom’s local telephone exchanges in the provinces using next-generation networking technology to help improve the reliability of long distance voice calls.
