Chinese telecom gear manufacturer ZTE has appointed Yan Xiao as the new deputy CEO and Rajat Mukarji as chief corporate officer for its Indian operations. Prior to his new role, Xiao was CEO of ZTE’s Myanmar operations. Meanwhile, Mukarji was working with Idea Cellular as chief corporate affairs officer. Xiao will now report to ZTE India CEO Peng Aiguang and will cater to telco partners such as Bharti Airtel, BSNL and Reliance Jio besides focusing on ZTE’s government and enterprise customers in the country.
