ZTE Corporation has launched a series of 5G solutions in India. The solutions include Pre5G frequency division duplex or time division duplex massive multiple input, multiple output base stations and 5G Flexhaul. ZTE has also launched its virtual reality, smart home and smart parking solutions in India.
According to the company, the Pre5G set of solutions would build a bridge from 4G to 5G and help operators upgrade to 5G networks by offering a combination of Giga+ MBB, massive IoT and cloud technology. This would improve the performance of 4G networks while meeting the requirements of 5G deployment. The 5G Flexhaul solutions are a set of 5G transport solutions based on internet protocol and optical convergence, and feature fronthaul and backhaul integrated pre-commercial equipment. By adopting the new IP+Optical architecture, the solution would provide unified transport of 5G fronthaul and backhaul services on one device, as well as a large bandwidth, ultra-low latency and software defined networking-based traffic engineering.
