Zain Iraq has selected Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) for a $150 million contract to increase capacity and modernise its corenet work.

Zain Iraq has selected Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) for a $150 million contract to increase capacity and modernise its core network. Under the terms of contract, NSN will assume responsibility for Zain’s core intelligent network and value-added services.

The deal will allow Zain to migrate its infrastructure to NSN’s portfolio and sign up more customers. NSN has to execute the project over a 10-12-month period.
