Yotta Data Services has raised around $150 million from non-institutional investors at a valuation of approximately $3.9 billion (around Rs 370 billion) to accelerate the expansion of its artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud businesses.

The company said the funding, completed over the past few months, did not involve any promoter offer-for-sale, with the entire proceeds being infused into the business to support future growth.

The capital raise comes amid rising global demand for AI computing infrastructure, prompting data centre operators and cloud service providers to significantly expand graphics processing unit (GPU) capacity and sovereign cloud offerings.

Yotta said it plans to scale its AI cloud infrastructure to more than 40,000 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs over the next four months and further expand capacity to around 85,000 GPUs by the end of FY27.
