Sandhya Arun has been appointed as chief technology officer (CTO) at Wipro with immediate effect. The appointment comes after Subha Tatavarti resigned from the position of CTO.
Arun has 30-year experience in technology consulting, cloud and engineering transformation, digital commerce and marketing. Prior to this, Arun held various leadership positions at Wipro over the past eight years and has contributed in technological innovation, leading digital transformation and pioneering the integration of artificial intelligence (AI).
In her new role, she will report to chief technology and strategy officer Hari Shetty
In addition, Nanda Kishore has been appointed as chief delivery and operational excellence officer, and the company also elevated the role of its chief information security officer Aathir Ahad as chief information security officer. Further, Ajit Mahale, senior executive, has resigned from Wipro.
