Airtel

Bharti Airtel has enhanced its prepaid international roaming plan priced at Rs 2,998, offering expanded benefits for users travelling abroad. The revamped 30-day plan now includes 10 GB of high speed data (up from 5 GB), 300 international roaming call minutes (up from 200), free incoming SMSs and 20 outgoing SMSs. Post data exhaustion, users can opt for a Rs 699 top-up offering 2 GB of additional high speed data, valid for the remaining duration of the plan. The plan also provides in-flight connectivity with 250 MB of data, 100 minutes of outgoing calls and 100 outgoing SMSs, valid for 24 hours. The pack is valid across 189 countries and activates automatically on arrival, eliminating the need to choose separate plans for different destinations or transit points. International call charges remain at Rs 45 per minute.

The telco has also revised its post-paid international roaming plans priced at R­s 5,999­ and Rs 14,999. The post-paid international roaming plans feature in-flight benefits including 250 MB data, 100 outgoing call minutes and 100 outgoing SMSs valid for 24 hours across 19 international airlines. Other key features of these plans are as follows:

  • The plan priced at Rs 5,999 offers a val­idity of 90 days. The updated plan now includes unlimited data, with 40 GB of high speed usage (up from 2 GB earlie­r), after which speeds are reduced to 80 kbps under a Fair Usage Policy. It also offers 900 minutes of incoming and outgoing calls (both local and to India), 100 outgoing SMSs and free incoming SMSs.
  • The plan priced at Rs 14,999 offers a validity of 365 days. The plan now offers unlimited data with 40 GB of  high speed of usage data (up from 15 GB earlier), after which speeds are reduced to 80 kbps. It includes 3,000 minutes of incoming and outgoing calls, 100 outgoing SMSs and free incoming SMSs.

Vi

Vodafone Idea Limited (Vi) has introduced a new add-on feature for its family post-paid plans, allowing customers to add up to eight secondary members at Rs 299 per member per month. Each added member receives 40 GB of high speed data monthly. The base family post-paid plan starts at Rs 701 and includes two connections (one primary and one secondary). With the new feature, users on this plan can now include up to seven additional members, supporting a total of nine users under one account. The add-on is available via the Vi app, enabling easy member management. Vi’s family post-paid plans include individual data allocations, unlimited voice calling, SMS and access to over-the-top platforms. Moreover, premium perks such as Swiggy One and ­EazyDiner are reserved for higher-tier plans priced at Rs 1,201 and Rs 1,401 respectively.

Jio

Reliance Jio has introduced five new prepaid plans priced at Rs 49, Rs 98, Rs 298, Rs 495 and Rs 545 for mobile gamers and free acc­ess to its cloud gaming platform, JioGames Cloud.  Key features of these plans include:

  • The plan priced at Rs 49 offers 10 MB data and a three-day access to JioGames Cloud. (Data voucher; base prepaid plan required.)
  • The plan priced at Rs 98 offers 10 MB data and a seven-day access to JioGames Cloud. (Data voucher; base prepaid plan required.)
  • The plan priced at Rs 298 offers 3 GB of data and a 28-day access to JioGames Cloud. (Data voucher; base prepaid plan required.)

The plan priced at Rs 495 offers 1.5 GB per day, 5 GB bonus data, unlimited calls, 100 SMS per day and a 28-day acc­ess to JioGames Cloud. Additional benefits include JioCinema (Hotstar Mobile), FanCode, JioTV and JioAICloud.

The plan priced at Rs 545 offers 2 GB per day, 5 GB bonus data, unlimited calls, 100 SMSs per day and a 28-day access to JioGames Cloud. Additional benefits include JioCinema (Hotstar Mobile), FanCode, JioTV, JioAICloud and unlimited 5G data.

BSNL

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL has announced a limited-time flash sale for prepaid users, valid from June 28, 2025 to July 1, 2025. As part of the offer, customers can get 400 GB of high speed 4G data for just Rs 400, effectively pricing data at Re 1 per GB. The data is offered through a data voucher and is valid for 40 days. This plan is intended for high-data users and does not include service validity, meaning an active base plan is required to use it. s\
