Jio

Reliance Jio announced its Diwali 2025 festive prepaid plans priced at Rs 349, Rs 899 and Rs 3,599. These plans include unlimited voice calling, daily 5G data and bundled access to platforms such as JioCinema, JioHotstar and JioHome trials. Key features of these plans are:

  • The plan priced at Rs 349 offers 2 GB of data per day for 28 days, along with the festive bonuses and OTT access.
  • The plan priced at Rs 899 extends validity to 90 days with the same daily data limit plus, an additional 20 GB.
  • The annual plan priced at Rs 3,599 offers 2.5 GB of data per day and includes all festive benefits such as OTT subscriptions, JioHome trial and Jio Gold rewards.

The company also introduced a prepaid plan priced at Rs 100. This plan offers 5 GB of data with a validity of 30 days. Along with data, it includes access to JioHotstar Mobile/TV for 30 days.

BSNL

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced a limited time discount on its Rs 199 prepaid plan as part of a festive offer. The Rs 199 plan includes 2 GB of data per day, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMSs per day, with a validity of 28 days. Under the festive offer, customers will receive a 2.5 per cent discount on the recharge between October 18 and November 18, 2025, bringing the effective price down to around Rs 194.

The telco has introduced a plan priced at Rs 225 that offers unlimited local and STD voice calls, 2.5 GB of daily data with speeds reduced to 40 Kbps after the limit and 100 SMSs per day. The plan comes with a validity of 30 days.

In addition, the company has extended the availability of its Re 1 “Freedom Plan” by another 15 days. The offer, which was first introduced on August 1, 2025, allows new users to get a BSNL SIM card for just Re 1. Under this plan, customers receive unlimited voice calling, 2 GB of data per day and 100 SMSs per day. The SIM card is provided free of cost after completing the know-your-customer (KYC) process. With the extension, BSNL aims to continue attracting new users and promote its affordable entry-level offerings.

Vi

Vodafone Idea Limited (Vi) has introduced two new prepaid plans in the Chennai circle, priced at Rs 198 and Rs 204. These plans were already available in select circles and have now been extended to Chennai. The Rs 198 plan offers 30 days of validity and includes 500 MB of data. Voice calls are charged at 2.5 paise per second. Users can add separate talktime or data vouchers if needed. Meanwhile, the Rs 204 plan provides one month of validity and carries the same benefits.

The telco has also introduced a set of affordable prepaid plans priced at Rs 155, Rs 179 and Rs 189 for users in the Rajasthan circle. These plans were already available in several other circles and have now been extended to Rajasthan. Key features of these plans are:

  • The Rs 155 plan offers 20 days of validity with unlimited voice calling, 1 GB of data and 300 SMSs for the entire duration.
  • The Rs 179 plan includes the same bene­fits of unlimited calling, 1 GB of data and 300 SMS, but with a slightly longer validity, of 24 days.
  • The Rs 189 plan also offers unlimited calling, 1 GB of data and 300 SMSs, with the validity extended to 26 days.

In addition, the telco has reduced the validity of its Rs 98 prepaid plan from 14 days to 10 days in several circles. The plan offers unlimited voice calling and 200 MB of data but does not include any outgoing SMS benefit.

Airtel

Bharti Airtel has integrated six artificial intelligence (AI) agents into its Airtel Thanks app to enhance customer experience and simplify interactions. The app now includes six specialised AI agents named Data, Buy, Pay, Build, Serve and Channels. Each agent is designed for a specific purpose, allowing users to complete tasks through simple conversational commands instead of navigating multiple menus. These AI agents function like an in-app search engine, helping users with everything from bill payments and service requests to troubleshooting and account management. They can anticipate user needs, guide customers to relevant options and offer quick solutions.
