Aircel has concluded the second term of the Save our Tigers Telethon, in association with NDTV.  The 12-hour television campaign has raised Rs 58.1 million for Tiger Conservation in India.

During the campaign, several spokespeople came forward to speak on the subject, including campaign ambassador, actor Amitabh Bachchan, Dr. Prannoy Roy, Chairman, NDTV and Vikram Chandra.

Commenting on the occasion, Sandip Das, CEO, Maxis Communications and director, Aircel said, ?The tiger symbolises everything we stand for as a country. The Save Our Tiger campaign has made a huge difference by bringing forth not only the issues impacting the national animal but environment and people too. We are extremely honoured and pleased to see the profound impact it has created in the last three years.?
