Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah has announced a proposal by Web Werks India to invest Rs 200 billion to build a data centre park and associated infrastructure in Bengaluru. The project, when fully commissioned, would create 1,000 new jobs.
The government of Karnataka signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the company in Davos in this regard.
