Vodafone Essar Limited has rolled-out 3G services in select towns in Kerala.
In the first phase of the launch, Vodafone 3G services will be available in Ernakulam, Aluva, Kozhikode, Quilandy, Alappuzha, Cherthala, Malappuram and Manjeri, while the rest of the locations will follow shortly in phased manner.
As an introductory offer, Vodafone will be offering double of the normal free data allowed on select packs until July 31.
K. Sundararaman, business head, Kerala, Vodafone Essar, said the company expects a strong uptake and high demand for 3G services.
