The operator is focused on improving its data network by investing Rs 70 billion in establishing new telecom infrastructure and strengthening existing network. The planned spending to improve its infrastructure is in addition to Vodafone India?s annual capex investment of Rs 50 billion in India over the next few years. Data traffic for Vodafone India has been growing at 60-70 per cent year-on-year for 2G services and over 100 per cent for 3G services.
