Vodafone Essar has crossed the 100 million mobile subscriber mark, becoming the third operator after Bharti Airtel and Reliance Communications (RCOM) to achieve this. The company, which has invested around Rs 200 billion over the past three years, intends to further expand its Indian operations. The company is looking at new areas of revenue generation, which include the enterprise and carrier businesses as well as data services.
