
Vindhya Telelinks Limited has reported profits worth Rs 55.6 million for the quarter ended June 2014 as compared to losses of Rs 4.17 million for the quarter ended June 2013. The profitability was enhanced by a twofold increase in revenues from Rs 585.5 million in April-June 2013 to Rs 1,218.06 million for the same period in 2014.
As for different business verticals, the cables manufacturing business of company experienced growth in profits by 945 per cent from Rs 0.78 million for the quarter ended June 2013 to Rs 74.54 million for the quarter ended in June 2014. The revenues for the segment increased from Rs 407.23 million to Rs 851.09 million in the same time period.
Meanwhile, the engineering, procurement and construction business earned profits worth Rs 43.63 million for April-June 2014 against the loss of Rs 11.51 million in April-June 2013. The revenues for the segment increased from Rs 178.34 million for the quarter ended June 2013 to Rs 366.96 million for the quarter ended June 2014.
