Videocon Mobile Services plans to roll out long-term-evolution (LTE) services across circles, where the operator has won spectrum in the recently concluded auction.
Videocon will launch LTE services in 2013 in six circles, namely, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh, Gujarat Uttar Pradesh West, Uttar Pradesh East, Bihar and Jharkhand.
The spectrum won by Videocon in six circles is paired and liberalised, which means that the spectrum can be used to roll out next generation networks and services by adapting a highly spectrally efficient 4G technology frequency division duplexing LTE.
