Vi pays 50 per cent of SUC and licence fee dues for Q4 FY23

Vodafone Idea Limited (Vi) has paid 50 per cent of the spectrum usage charge (SUC) and licence fee dues for the fourth quarter (Q4) of the fiscal year 2022-23 (FY23). The telco has reportedly assured the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) that it will clear 90 per cent of the dues for the Q1 FY24 in a phased manner along with the interest.

According to officials, if the telco executes its payment plans, the DoT will not invoke bank guarantees. However, if it fails to make the payments, the guarantees will be encashed.
