Kyndryl has renewed its partnership with Vodafone Idea Limited (Vi) for another three years. The extended agreement aims to transform Vi’s information technology (IT) operations delivery, streamline application operations management, and establish a unified and integrated cyber-resilience framework.

Under the renewed partnership, Kyndryl will design and deploy a cyber-resilience framework covering security governance, zero-touch services, data protection, identity and access management, security operations and incident recovery. It will also overhaul Vi’s cybersecurity architecture to align with anticipated regulatory requirements. The updated structure is expected to enhance Vi’s overall security posture, minimise manual intervention, and improve early detection of risks and vulnerabilities, enabling faster recovery of critical business data.

Further, Kyndryl will introduce a next-generation IT operations delivery model driven by advanced automation and data-based insights. This model will help Vi transition to a zero-touch delivery framework by modernising platform capabilities and strengthening service delivery. The company will also spearhead major transformation initiatives in backup, storage management and continuous data protection (CDP) to improve operational agility and reduce costs.

Vi will also continue leveraging Kyndryl Bridge, the company’s artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled open integration platform, to advance operational efficiencies through automation and data-led insights.
